Astoria has been manufacturing espresso machines in Italy since 1969, combining traditional Italian espresso heritage with durable, commercial-grade engineering. Trusted globally in cafés, restaurants, and hospitality environments, Astoria machines are built to perform reliably under demanding conditions.

The Astoria Tanya 2 Group Gas-Converted Espresso Machine is designed for locations where electrical power is limited, unreliable, or unavailable. By converting the boiler to run on gas (LPG), this machine delivers the same dependable espresso performance while offering greater flexibility for mobile setups, remote sites, outdoor venues, and backup power solutions.

Reliable Espresso Where Power Is Limited

With its commercial thermosyphon circulation system and dual brewing groups, the Tanya 2 Group maintains stable brewing temperatures and consistent extraction, even in challenging environments. Gas heating provides efficient boiler recovery, while the electrical components are limited to essential functions such as pump operation and controls.

This makes the gas-converted Tanya 2 Group an excellent solution for mobile coffee trailers, events, rural cafés, lodges, markets, and contingency installations.

Domestic or Commercial? Commercial

Please take note that you will still need a small power supply to power the water pump in the machine (the boiler component is exchanged with gas only - standard for all gas operated machines).

If you want to place this unit in a trailer or remote area with no water connection, then please account for a Bottled Water Pump. This provides the required pressure the machine needs to its inlet. We don't suggest you use the machine's own motor to pull the water from bottles below counter to the boiler, you have a high risk of burning out your espresso machine's motor.
