About the Brand

PUQ Press was founded in Delft, the Netherlands, in 2011, when engineer Laurens Pluimers built what the company calls the world's first precision coffee tamper — designed to solve a barista's repetitive strain injury as much as a consistency problem. Every unit is still hand-assembled at PUQ's own facility in Vlaardingen, and the M-Line extends that same technology into tampers built to integrate directly under specific commercial grinders rather than sit beside them. It remains the reference automatic tamper manufacturer worldwide, trusted by cafés from single-site independents to multi-roaster chains to take one more variable out of every shot.

The Product

The Puqpress M5 is an integrated automatic tamper built for the Mahlkönig E80S and E80S GbW — the larger sibling to the E65S-fitting M3 — and also mounts to the Mazzer Robur S and Kold S via the M5 bracket. It sits directly beneath your existing doser, so grinding and tamping become one motion instead of two separate stations.

It's built to give a high-output grinder the same factory-integrated consistency already available on smaller commercial units.
