Flair Espresso is a California-based company that pioneered the modern manual lever espresso maker in 2016, and has built its entire range around that one idea since. Every Flair machine is 100% manual — no electricity, no pump, no boiler — generating the 6–9 bar of pressure real espresso needs from nothing but the barista’s arm. The range now spans five machine families (Neo Flex, Classic, GO, 58, PRO) plus the Royal hand grinder, sold worldwide and, locally, through Morrico.

The Product

The Neo Flex V2 is Flair’s cheapest way into manual espresso, relaunched in 2024 with two real upgrades over the original Neo: an integrated pressure gauge for live brew feedback, and a redesigned “thin cylinder” brew chamber that removed roughly 100g of stainless steel from the original design. That mass reduction is the headline change — it means no preheating step before you brew, which was the biggest friction point on the original Neo.

Build — polymer-blend frame with the thin stainless steel brew cylinder; keeps weight and cost down without touching the brewing pressure.

Preheat — none required, thanks to the reduced thermal mass of the redesigned cylinder.
