About the Brazen Plus 3.0 Coffee Brewer
The Brazen Plus 3.0 is a filter coffee machine that operates above the rest. With a programmable pre-soak, temperature adjustment and even altitude temperature adjustment it brings back control to the user. With a 1.2 liter capacity you can make approximately 8 cups of coffee at the press of a button.
Programmable Pre-Soak (bloom)
The Brazen Plus allows you to pre-soak your coffee between 15 seconds to 4 minutes. Pre-soaking or blooming your coffee is important as this release carbon dioxide and other volatile compounds from the coffee grounds, which helps to extract the coffee's natural flavours and create a better tasting cup. The duration of the bloom is dependent on the freshness of the coffee, roast level and grind size.
Temperature adjustment
Most filter coffee machines have one temperature while brewing. The Brazen allows you to adjust the temperature between 90 and 98 degrees Celcius. Depending on the roast level of the coffee, this is a great addition that allows the user to extract the best flavour from the coffee.
