AeroPress began in 1984 as Aerobie, Inc., founded by Stanford engineering lecturer Alan Adler — the same inventor behind the record-setting Aerobie flying ring. Adler turned his engineering mind to coffee in 2004, and the AeroPress launched in 2005 to become one of the most-loved manual brewers in the world.
AeroPress's standard paper filter, but unbleached — the same biodegradable, compostable filter, made with a lower-impact process. Each pack holds 200 filters.
