About the Brand
Ditting was founded in 1928 in Switzerland, originally as an automotive engineering firm before finding its true calling in 1954, when it entered the coffee grinder market. In 2008 Ditting joined Mahlkönig to form the Hemro Group, and today its grinders are distributed across more than 70 countries — many of them still running, decades after installation, on the strength of Swiss engineering built to outlast the businesses around it.
The Product
The Ditting 807 Commercial Coffee Grinder is built for coffee shops and roasters that grind coffee directly into the bag for their customers. Its 80mm hardened steel burrs and cutting-edge burr geometry hold precise, even particle distribution across an extra-wide grind range, from Turkish fine through to cold brew coarse. A high-end bag clamping lever and knocker unit keep retention to a minimum on the slide, and two active cooling fans hold performance steady even under back-to-back grinding. This is retail-bag grinding built to run all day without losing consistency.
80mm Hardened Steel Burrs (High-Capacity Grinding)
Premium hardened steel burrs with cutting-edge geometry hold precise particle distribution at an average output of 450g/min, even under sustained high workloads.
Extra-Wide Grind Range (Turkish Fine to Cold Brew Coarse)
One grinder covers the full range a retail counter needs, from Turkish-fine grounds through to the coarsest cold brew setting.
Minimal-Retention Bag Clamping System (Consistent Dosing)
A high-end bag clamping lever and knocker unit keep grounds moving evenly into the bag with minimal retention left behind on the slide.
Dual Active Cooling Fans (Sustained High-Volume Output)
Improved heat management keeps grinding temperature down during long runs, holding performance steady rather than letting it drift as the motor heats up.
Anodized Aluminium Adjustment Wheel (Precise, Repeatable Settings)
A characteristic anodized wheel gives you a convenient, accurate way to set and return to grind sizes without guesswork.
Quick-Release Hopper & Magnetic Drip Tray (Fast Cleaning)
The bean hopper and magnetic drip tray remove quickly for thorough cleaning, keeping the grinder ready to switch between blends without a long changeover.
Modular Construction (Easy Maintenance)
Easy burr access through a modular build means quicker, more convenient servicing when it's time for maintenance.
Who It's Built For
You run a coffee shop or roastery that grinds retail bags to order, and you need a grinder that keeps up with high-volume, back-to-back use without a drop in quality. You want the same clean, even grind at 8am and at 5pm, and you don't want to compromise on capacity to get it. The 807 is built for exactly that kind of daily volume — precision that doesn't slow down.
