Conti was founded in 1950 in Paris by owner M. Siksik. He combined a passion for espresso and engineering, and started producing espresso machines.
In 1956 Conti moved its headquarters to Monaco, as the Prince of Monaco wanted to attract companies to build its economy. To this day Conti is based in the beautiful Monaco, overlooking the Port de Fontvieille.
Conti was one of the early adopters of volumetric technology in the 1970's, meeting a growing consumer appetite for increased automation in their devices. Automated machines was hugely popular in France and other markets.
Today Conti has combined technology and pulled in resources to extract the absolute best flavour and aroma from their espresso machines. This resulted in tripling their volume, and becoming a world known company and competitor to the espresso business.
