AeroPress was invented in 2005 by Stanford engineering lecturer Alan Adler, who wanted a faster, cleaner way to brew a single cup. The AeroPress Steel is the company's first all-metal brewer. The chamber, plunger and filter cap are made from 304 stainless steel, with double-wall vacuum insulation that holds brew temperature and keeps the outside cool to the touch — even with near-boiling water inside.
It brews exactly like the AeroPress you know — immersion plus gentle pressure, done in under two minutes — but holds around 20% more than the Original, in a body built to last a lifetime. This is the Black Stainless finish.
