About Eureka
Eureka has been building coffee grinders in Florence since 1920, and over a century the family-run company has become one of the most widely used grinder brands in professional coffee. Its reputation rests on patented burr adjustment, quiet motors and workhorse construction that holds up to daily commercial use.
The Product
The Eureka Maxxi 85 is Eureka's on-demand espresso grinder for very high-volume cafés. Large 85mm hardened steel flat burrs and a dedicated 510W motor are rated to handle up to 3kg of coffee through a rush hour and up to 10kg across a full trading day, grinding at roughly 4.5–6.5g per second.
Despite that output, it's quiet. Eureka's Silent Technology anti-vibration system keeps noise well below what you'd expect from a grinder this size — a real difference on a bar where you're talking to customers. A touchscreen with three doses plus continuous mode, a password-protected Total Control System for managers, and a spotlight over the portafilter complete a grinder built around busy service.
Key Features
85mm Hardened Steel Flat Burrs (High-Volume Consistency)
Large burrs hold particle size steady through hundreds of shots a day and last longer between replacements.
Rush-Hour Capacity (Up to 3kg Peak, 10kg Daily)
Built for the busiest bars — the motor and burr set are matched for continuous heavy use without overheating the coffee.
Silent Technology (Quieter Bar)
Eureka's anti-vibration design brings grinding noise down noticeably compared with conventional commercial grinders.
Touchscreen with Total Control System (Locked-In Recipes)
Three programmable doses plus continuous, a dose counter, burr-maintenance alerts and password protection so staff can't change your settings.
Stepless Micrometric Adjustment and ACE System (Precise, Clean Dosing)
Infinite grind adjustment for accurate dialling-in, with anti-clump and anti-static treatment for clean dosing.
Hands-Free Fork and Portafilter Spotlight (Workflow)
Fits any portafilter and lights up the basket so you can see your dose land.
Who It's Built For
The Maxxi 85 is for high-volume cafés, multi-group bars, hotel breakfast service and kiosks where the grinder runs almost non-stop. If your current grinder heats up, slows down or drifts through a morning rush, this is the upgrade. It pairs naturally with two- and three-group machines like the Rocket R9, Boxer or Astoria Tempesta.
