The Company
Gaggia has built the Classic line since the 1970s as the entry point into genuine commercial-style espresso at home — the GT Dual Boiler is the brand's first true dual-boiler machine, built on that same Classic foundation.
The Product
The GT takes the Classic's compact footprint and adds what the Classic has always lacked: a dedicated boiler for brewing and a separate one for steam, each with independent PID control, so pulling a shot no longer means waiting for the steam boiler to recover or vice versa. A second pump refills the steam boiler without interrupting an extraction in progress, and the machine ships with most of the popular Classic mods — PID, 9-bar OPV adjustment, a brew pressure gauge, and a shot timer — already built in rather than bolted on afterward.
· Dual PID-controlled boilers — 120ml brass brew boiler and a 0.9L stainless steel steam/hot water boiler, independently controlled.
· Dedicated steam-boiler refill pump — steam boiler tops up without interrupting or dropping pressure on an extraction in progress.
· Automated and manual low-flow pre-infusion at approximately 3g/second.
· Volumetric shot programming and a roughly 5-minute heat-up time.
· Built-in from the factory: PID, 9-bar adjustable OPV, brew pressure gauge, professional steam wand, shot timer.
Who It's Built For
Home baristas who've outgrown a single-boiler machine's compromises — no more choosing between pulling a shot and steaming milk — but still want the Classic's compact, well-understood footprint rather than a much larger prosumer machine.
