About the Brand

IMS Filtri has been manufacturing precision-perforated espresso filters in Pavia, Italy, since 1946, and remains family-run four generations later. Its patented perforation technology set the standard the rest of the industry has followed since.

The Product

IMS precision baskets use laser-cut, micro-perforated holes engineered for even water flow through the coffee puck, reducing channeling and sharpening clarity and crema compared to standard stamped baskets. Both baskets are made from high-grade stainless steel and fit any standard 58mm portafilter — choose based on your dose:

Double (14/16g, dose range ±16–20g) — balanced and forgiving, ideal for everyday espresso and milk drinks.
Triple (20/22g, dose range ±20–22g+) — built for larger doses and modern, lighter-roast recipes that need more body.
