QuinSpin was created to solve one of the most repetitive jobs behind any espresso bar: knocking out the puck. Its bench-mounted grounds remover is now used in specialty cafés worldwide as a quieter, cleaner and more ergonomic alternative to the knock box.
The QuinSpin Coffee Espresso Ground Remover is a compact, motorised cleaning station with two spinning heads. Press your portafilter onto the first head and it scoops the spent puck out of the basket; move to the second and a brush head polishes the basket clean, ready for the next dose. No banging, no cloth, no loose grounds on the counter.
It runs on a 12V adapter, mounts on top of your counter or to the side of the bench, and its two heads can be used at the same time when you're turning around more than one portafilter. Removable brushes are replaceable as they wear.
One head clears the puck, the second brushes the basket — a clean, dry basket in a few seconds without a cloth.
A light press replaces repeated banging, reducing strain on baristas' wrists and wear on portafilters and baskets.
Removes the loudest sound in most cafés — the knock box.
