About the Brand
Saeco was founded in 1981 in Gaggio Montano, Italy, by Sergio Zappella and Arthur Schmed, and within four years the company had launched the Superautomatica — the world's first fully automatic espresso machine for home use. That same instinct, automating genuine Italian espresso technique rather than diluting it, still defines the brand.
Saeco machines are now a fixture in offices, hotels, and hospitality venues worldwide, valued for consistent, barista-style results with minimal daily intervention.
The Product
The Phedra Evo Cappuccino bridges the gap between a compact bench-top machine and genuine commercial-grade performance. Its full beverage range — coffee, milk-based drinks, chocolate, and hot water — is built around a clean design and a straightforward interface, making it a fit for boutique cafés and the bar area of a retail store alike.
This is Saeco's option for sites that want semi-commercial capability without a semi-commercial footprint.
Key Features
Full Beverage Range (Coffee, Milk, Chocolate, Hot Water)
Beyond espresso and coffee, the Phedra Evo Cappuccino handles fresh or powdered milk drinks, chocolate, and hot water for tea or herbal infusions from the same machine.
3.5" Colour TFT Display (8 Direct Selections)
Eight direct beverage selections plus two pre-selections keep the menu accessible without digging through submenus.
Selectable Brewing Unit (7 g or 9 g)
Choose the 7 g or 9 g brewing unit to match your recipe requirements.
1 kg Bean Hopper (Fewer Refills)
A 1 kg hopper capacity means less frequent topping up on busy days.
Flexible Water Supply (Mains or Internal Tank)
Connect to the mains water supply directly, or run from an internal tank — whichever suits your installation.
Who It's Built For
The Phedra Evo Cappuccino suits boutique café counters, retail store bars, office coffee bars, and hotel lobbies that need café-quality drinks with minimal staff intervention. It's built for sites that want a wide beverage menu — not just espresso — in a footprint that doesn't dominate the front of house.
